There exists a community of researchers (and beyond) who is interested in systematic research on social enterprise. In this context, EMES network represents a unique platform where resources are pooled to address some of the scientific demands of this community.
For over a decade, when the Network was able to create its own Coordination Unit, EMES has been financing its activity mainly via research funding, and to a lesser extend, members' fees.
Much of the effort that we make to ensure that our work is accessible and open to everybody is not easy to finance from external sources. Trying to give an answer to this gap, we thought about a voluntary donation strategy. In short, we are counting on the very people who enjoy and benefit from the work that we do in order to request a contribution to ensure that we can continue to do what we do and do it even better. This is why we are asking you to donate. Thanks in advance for your support, in any form it takes.
Why donate?
When you donate to EMES you are contributing to ensure:
- The stream of news and News Alerts to go on and be shared with over 2,500 people interested across the world.
- Travel and accommodation aid to participants in our conferences and summer schools, mostly coming from non–OECD countries.
- A presence at various European and international fora to ensure that social enterprise research and development is taken into account by policy-makers.
- Ongoing collaboration with partner networks whose outputs are readily available on the website (e.g. RILESS-EMES partnership)
